Autonomous SEO Content Engine

A self-running content pipeline that researches search demand, drafts on-brand articles, waits for a one-tap human approval, and publishes with full SEO plumbing.

This is the agent publishing the blog on this site. It researches what people search for, writes drafts that match a confirmed brand profile, and ships approved articles to production without a human touching a CMS. The human role shrinks to one decision: approve or reject.

What does this agent do?

It runs the entire content operation for bybetterhuman.com. Twice a week, on a schedule, it studies search demand around the brand's pillars, picks a target query worth answering, and writes a full article: headline, meta description, internal links, FAQ section, and structured data. The draft lands as a card in a review channel. One tap on approve and the article is live on the domain minutes later, complete with a generated hero image in the site's visual style.

How does it work?

The pipeline is a chain of specialized parts rather than one monolithic bot.

  1. Research crons fire Monday and Wednesday and mine autocomplete demand signals for questions the brand should own.
  2. A writer agent drafts against a confirmed brand profile: voice, pillars, and positioning are inputs, not guesses. Where facts are unconfirmed, the draft flags assumptions instead of inventing claims.
  3. A human approval gate presents the draft for review. Nothing publishes without a person saying yes.
  4. A deterministic publisher pushes the approved markdown and a generated hero image to a dedicated content repository in a single commit, then triggers a site rebuild. Hero images cost about four cents each to generate.
  5. The site build renders the article with canonical tags, Open Graph data, Article and FAQPage structured data, and a sitemap entry. Search Console picks it up from there.

The first production run went from approval tap to live article in 23 minutes, end to end.

What are the guardrails?

Autonomy without guardrails is a liability, so the system is built to fail loudly and safely.

  • A frozen frontmatter contract defines exactly what the publisher may emit. A malformed post fails the whole build, and the last good deployment stays live. A broken page can never ship.
  • The publisher refuses to overwrite an existing article unless it can prove it is revising the right one.
  • The autonomous machine holds a write key to blog content only. It cannot touch site code, checkout flows, or anything else.
  • Every hero image is validated before publish: missing alt text or a bad file path stops the post, not the site.

What value does it produce?

A publishing cadence that would normally require a content team runs as infrastructure. Articles target real search demand instead of guesses, every post ships with the technical SEO most human-run blogs skip, and the marginal cost of an article is measured in cents. The owner's time investment is reading a draft and tapping a button.

What could this look like for your business?

The same architecture transfers to any business that should be publishing and is not: research the demand, draft on brand, gate on your approval, publish with the plumbing done right. The pillars, voice, and approval channel change. The machine stays the same.
